When selecting a new edition to our herd bull battery, I start with looking at feet #1, 2, & 3! Because in this country if they can’t walk, I don’t want any part of them!

If the feet are right, I move along to making sure the rest of their structure is correct. Next I look at muscle expression, hair coat, & docility, & equally as well, a bull’s feed efficiency. We also need moderate birth weights, along with curve bending growth. Lastly, he has to come from a great mother, one that is available for inspection, & hopefully her mother as well.
